Accor and Mambano Collaborate on Zimbabwe’s First Luxury Boutique Hotel
ACCOR HAS PARTNERED WITH MAMBANO HOTELS LIMITED TO ESTABLISH ITS FIRST HOTEL IN ZIMBABWE, THE MBANO MANOR HOTEL VICTORIA FALLS.
Accor, a global leader in hospitality, has announced its partnership with Mambano Hotels Limited to establish its first hotel in Zimbabwe. The Mbano Manor Hotel Victoria Falls, located within an ancient teak forest and surrounded by a bird and tree sanctuary, will be rebranded under the Mantis Collection in June 2023. This Zimbabwe Luxury Boutique Hotel, which first opened in 2020, boasts 18 luxury suites and a presidential villa.
Dr. Matifadza Martha Nyazema, also known as Doc Mati, and her team founded and built the Mbano Manor Hotel Victoria Falls, which has been managed with passion and dedication. Mantis Collection CEO Paul Gardiner expressed his excitement to be entrusted with Doc Mati’s dream of providing a unique hospitality experience in Victoria Falls.

Mbano Manor Hotel Victoria Falls by Mantis will operate following Accor’s sustainability criteria, eco-certification programs, and internal carbon price monitoring.
