It helped her realize her love for sharing knowledge, which ultimately motivated her to seek growth elsewhere.

Since joining City Lodge Hotels, Cathrine has achieved significant milestones. One of her career highlights was preparing meals for a group of 400 guests during her first few months. It was the largest scale she had ever cooked for, and it was a remarkable experience. Additionally, she played a crucial role in launching the Town Lodge menu for the group, further solidifying her impact.

Cathrine credits her success to the supportive team at Town Lodge Johannesburg Airport. “Working with an amazing team and having the support of General Manager, Ashleigh Hickman, has been incredible,” she says. Cathrine appreciates the unique culture and family vibe within the hotel group. “It’s so much more than just ‘work.’ My capabilities are valued, and I am given tasks that challenge and allow me to express who I am,” she concludes.
