CHIC, the leading hotel owner and developer in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), has announced the implementation of Accor driven digital solutions for five hotels under the Novotel and Ibis Styles brands. These hotels will be opening soon across four cities, bringing a total of 660 keys to the country.

CHIC partnered with Accor to provide an unprecedented experience to DRC customers. Accor’s digital solutions were deployed by CHIC. CHIC is now the first in the country to integrate cloud solutions with mobile keys and Opera Cloud systems.

This implementation will enable guests to enjoy a “Fast Check-in and Check-out” process, access their rooms via smartphones. These solutions not only streamline hotel operations but also contribute to reducing the ecological footprint by minimizing paper and magnetic card usage.
