Diriyah Project Expands with 16 New Hotel Management Agreements

The Diriyah Gate Development Authority has signed 16 hotel management agreements for its mega project in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. These new agreements complement the 16 previously announced, and the first hotel is set to open later this year. In the second phase of signings, renowned brands such as Anatara, The Chedi, Faena, GHM, Hyatt Place, The Langham, Marriott Edition, 1 Hotels, Radisson Red, Taj Hotels, Treehouse, and Waldorf Astoria have been announced.

Hilton Unveils Iceland Parliament Hotel in Reykjavik

As per Diriyah project, Hilton has recently opened the Iceland Parliament Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton in Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital. The 163-room hotel is conveniently located next to the country’s Parliament building, known as the Alþingishúsið.

IHG Brings Voco Budapest to Life

IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to open the Voco Budapest in December 2023. This 137-room hotel will be a conversion of the independent D8 Hotel, which is currently managed by the owner BDPST Group.

A historic transformation has taken place in Dumfries, southwest Scotland, with the opening of Mercure Dumfries Cargenholm House. The hotel, managed by Splendid Hospitality Group, offers 61 rooms and is housed in two residences dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries.

Nobu Expands to Saadiyat Island with Hotel and Residences

In 2026, the Nobu Hotel, Restaurant & Residences will be opened on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, through a collaboration between Nobu Hospitality and owner Aldar Properties, as per Diriyah project. The property will feature 165 rooms and mark Nobu’s entry into the Abu Dhabi market.

Maison Delano Paris to Open as Brand’s First Hotel Outside the U.S.

Ennismore, a division of Accor, and owner Katara Hospitality are preparing to open the Maison Delano Paris next month. This 56-room hotel will be the brand’s first outside of the U.S., where it already has a presence with a hotel in Las Vegas.

Motto by Hilton Makes European Debut in Rotterdam

Hilton has announced the signing of Motto by Hilton Rotterdam, marking the European debut of the brand. The 108-room hotel is scheduled to open soon, although an exact date has not yet been disclosed.

Radisson Adds Grand Hotel & Spa in Malo-les-Bains and Livingstone Resort

Radisson Hotel Group has expanded its portfolio with two new properties. The Radisson Blu Grand Hotel & Spa has opened in Malo-les-Bains, a charming French coastal town near the Belgium border. Hyatt to Open Hotel Flüela in Davos

Hyatt Hotels Corp. has signed a franchise agreement with Davos Luxury Properties AG for the Hotel Flüela for this Diriyah project. This 50-room property, part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection, will open later this year in Davos, Switzerland, known for its prestigious World Economic Forum conference.

IHG to Manage Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel

Katara Hospitality, the owner and developer of the newly renamed Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, has chosen IHG Hotels & Resorts to manage the property. The 332-room hotel, located in Cannes, France, will commence operations under IHG’s management this spring.
