Dream Hotels & Resorts (Dream) and CityBlue Hotels (CityBlue) have announced a strategic partnership to enhance their market presence across Africa.
Embracing the tagline, ‘Collaborating for a Brighter African Hospitality Future,’ this partnership signifies a major step for these renowned African hospitality companies. By pooling their resources, expertise, and networks, they aim for sustainable growth and enhanced guest value.
Dream is a key player in South Africa’s hospitality industry with 23 properties. CityBlue, Africa’s fastest-growing hotel chain, has properties in Accra, Dar es Salaam, Juba, Kampala, Kigali, Lamu, Mombasa, and Nairobi. They plan to reach 50 hotels by 2028.

Dream Hotels & CityBlue Hotels Collab: Joint Marketing and Expanded Reach
Jameel Verjee, Founder & CEO of CityBlue Hotels, highlights their East and West-meets-South partnership. It will include joint marketing campaigns, co-branded promotions, and combined trade show representation. They will also exchange agents, wholesalers, and clients for diversified market reach.

An official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Dream and CityBlue will be signed at the Africa Hotel Investment Forum (AHIF) in Windhoek during the week of 25 June 2024. This partnership aligns with AHIF’s mission to foster investment, collaboration, and growth in African hospitality.
