ENVI Lodges Expands with A New Tented Camp in Tanzania’s Mara Region

ENVI LODGES OPENS A NEW TENTED CAMP, ENVI SISINI MARA, IN TANZANIA’S MARA REGION, BLENDING LUXURY, WELLNESS, AND SUSTAINABILITY.
ENVI Lodges has announced the opening of ENVI Sisini Mara, a luxurious tented camp in northern Tanzania’s Mara region. This new permanent camp sits on a 2-square-kilometer concession near the Serengeti, offering guests a unique blend of luxury, wellness, and unforgettable safari experiences.
ENVI Sisini Mara: Prime Location for Wildlife Enthusiasts
The camp’s strategic location is just 15 minutes away from the famous river crossing that’s a key part of the Great Migration. This event attracts millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes as they travel across the plains. Wildlife lovers can also expect to spot majestic lions, rhinos, and other fascinating species in the area.
ENVI Sisini Mara features 10 eco-friendly tents, including a 134 sqm two-bedroom luxury suite with a private plunge pool, and nine 55 sqm standard tented suites. All tents are thoughtfully designed to blend with the natural surroundings while providing modern amenities like luxurious bathrooms, outdoor bathtubs, and spacious wooden decks. Guests can enjoy views of roaming wildlife from the comfort of their tents.
Immersive Wellness and Dining Experiences
The camp offers top-notch amenities, including a gourmet restaurant, a cozy lounge and bar, a library tent, and a serene spa equipped with a gym, yoga deck, and treatment room. Guests can also relax by the communal pool after a day of adventure. Wellness options include in-room experiences, outdoor treatments during game drives, and a healthy menu sourced from local farmers.
Commitment to Sustainability
ENVI Sisini Mara is designed with sustainability in mind. The camp operates on solar power and uses a reverse osmosis plant to provide drinking water. No single-use plastics are allowed, and most of the furniture is locally crafted. ENVI Lodges aims to minimize its environmental footprint while supporting local artisans and farmers.
The camp is easily accessible, just a 3.5-hour scenic drive or a short flight from ENVI’s Serengeti camp, ensuring seamless connectivity between Tanzania’s top safari destinations.
