THE HISTORIC PROPERTY, TRANSFORMED INTO A WORLD-CLASS DESTINATION, OFFERS BREATHTAKING VIEWS OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN AND SHOWCASES RABAT’S RICH HISTORY AND CULTURAL ATTRACTIONS.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, a leading luxury hospitality company, is teaming up with Atlantic Coast Hospitality, a subsidiary of Q Holding, a real estate development firm based in Abu Dhabi. The partnership aims to open the highly anticipated Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr in 2023.

A Historic Gem Gets a Modern Makeover

Kasr Al Bahr, which means “castle of the sea,” served as a grand royal summer palace in the 19th century. It later functioned as a military hospital until its closure in 1999. The sprawling five-hectare (12-acre) retreat, perched on a cliffside, has undergone extensive renovations. The transformed property will feature 204 luxurious rooms and suites with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.

“With our successful properties in Marrakech and Casablanca, Four Seasons is excited to strengthen its foothold in Morocco’s capital city,” says Bart Carnahan, President of Global Business Development and Portfolio Management at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “Atlantic Coast Hospitality has chosen us as the custodians of Kasr Al Bahr, and we feel incredibly honored. Our guests can expect a new level of luxury hospitality that reflects our commitment to personalized service and exceptional quality.”

Rabat, Morocco’s capital, is located on the picturesque Atlantic Ocean coastline. It seamlessly combines historical treasures with modern attractions, catering to discerning luxury travelers. The city boasts UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Oudayas, which showcase its French and Islamic influences. Visitors can also enjoy the city’s beautiful beaches, vibrant music festivals, and extensive green spaces spanning over 202 hectares (500 acres) of serene parks.
