The Four Seasons Resort Seychelles and Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island have appointed Carlos Rodriguez as their Senior Executive Chef. With over 15 years of experience in luxury resort hospitality, Chef Carlos is tasked with leading the outlets and kitchens of both properties, driving innovation in restaurant concepts, menu evolution, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Prior to joining Four Seasons, Chef Carlos honed his culinary skills at luxury resorts in Mexico and the Middle East. He worked at The Grill Club, a five-diamond restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Cancún, and served as executive chef for St. Regis in Dubai. Chef Carlos has experience working as a chef de cuisine at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain, and was also a member of the pre-opening team at the Ritz-Carlton Jeddah. In his most recent role, he was the executive chef for IHG Hotels & Resorts in Ras al Khaimah.

Chef Carlos: Elevating Culinary Delights in the Seychelles

Born in Mexico, Chef Carlos is fluent in English and Spanish. Apart from cooking, he enjoys hiking, windsurfing, diving, and spending time with his wife and two daughters, who have joined him in the island paradise of the Seychelles.

Chef Carlos is known for his adaptability and passion for every aspect of his work. He has brought his international culinary expertise to the Seychelles, where he plans to create new culinary experiences that showcase the local produce and flavors. Chef Carlos believes that a great dining experience is not just about the food, but also about the ambiance, service, and attention to detail.
