Hilton Expands with New Hilton Garden Inn on Egypt’s North Coast

Hilton has announced the signing of a new Hilton Garden Inn at Borg El Arab Beach, set to open in 2028. In partnership with Tharaa Misr for Real Estate Development, the hotel will offer upscale accommodations on Egypt’s stunning North Coast. Known for its clear Mediterranean waters and pristine beaches, the Borg El Arab area is becoming a top destination for travelers.
Hilton Garden Inn Borg El Arab Beach: Premier Amenities
The Hilton Garden Inn Borg El Arab Beach will be strategically located half an hour from Borg El Arab Airport and under two hours from West Cairo. Its position on the North Coast will attract both local and international guests, with easy access to popular beach attractions and amenities.
Carlos Khneisser, Hilton’s vice president of development for the Middle East and Africa, expressed excitement about the brand’s expansion in Egypt. He noted that the North Coast’s rapid growth has positioned it as a leading summer destination in the region. Hilton’s ongoing commitment to expansion aims to provide travelers with new places to experience Hilton’s renowned hospitality, with Borg El Arab Beach as a prime example.
The hotel will feature 135 rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby bar, a pool bar, and a fitness center. Guests can enjoy a large outdoor pool and direct beach access. Business travelers will benefit from four flexible meeting rooms and top-notch amenities. As part of the larger Glee North Coast development, the hotel will connect with recreational and commercial facilities along the Alexandria Road.
Eslam Hashem, chairman of Tharaa Misr, expressed enthusiasm about working with Hilton to enhance Borg El Arab’s tourism appeal. He emphasized that this partnership will provide visitors with the quality and comfort associated with the Hilton Garden Inn brand.
Hilton currently operates 14 hotels across Egypt, with an additional 20 in development. This new addition follows recent projects, including Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Zayed and the soon-to-launch Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi.
