Hilton, a renowned hospitality Brand, has appointed three senior executives to its Middle East, Africa & Türkiye (MEA&T) leadership team. These appointments will strengthen Hilton’s operations and human resources functions while driving food and beverage development in the region.

Aligi Gardenghi Leads Luxury and Full-Service Operations

Aligi Gardenghi, with over 20 years of experience at Hilton, has been appointed as Vice President, Operations, Arabian Peninsula. He will oversee luxury and full-service operations across 45 hotels in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Aligi has a wealth of experience in business development, revenue management, and marketing. Previously, he served as Vice President of Americas Marketing, where he played a pivotal role in driving performance for over 6,000 hotels. Aligi has held various senior positions at Hilton, including Global Vice President, Marketing Performance and Insight.

Marie-Louise Ek, Vice President, Human Resources

Hilton has appointed Marie-Louise Ek as Vice President, Human Resources, Middle East, Africa & Türkiye. She will lead Hilton’s human resources function and drive the company’s people and culture strategy. With over 30,000 team members across 181 hotels in the region, Marie-Louise will ensure a strong focus on talent development. She brings extensive multi-market experience in Fortune 500 corporations and was previously the Senior Director of Human Resources for Africa, Middle East, and South Asia at PepsiCo.

Dean Murphy, Senior Director, F&B Development & Operations

Hilton has appointed Dean Murphy as the Senior Director, F&B Development, Operations & Openings, Africa, Middle East & Türkiye. In this role, he will oversee regional operations and the development of food and drink venues, emphasizing local sourcing and food waste management. Dean’s previous experience includes serving as the Director of Operations at Sunset Hospitality Group and holding leadership roles at Jumeirah Restaurant Group.
