Affiliates of Hyatt Hotels Corporation and ALDAU Development have signed a franchise agreement, marking the introduction of Hyatt Centric to Egypt. The full-service lifestyle brand’s African premiere will be marked by the opening of this hotel.

Prime Location at Cairo’s Western End
Located at the western end of Cairo, near key business centers and tourist spots, Hyatt Centric Cairo West offers an artistic journey to guests. The urban hotel will blend local contemporary art, Egyptian crafts, and cultural references, providing a unique ambiance. The property will feature gardens, a heated pool, an art wall, and indoor social spaces.
Hyatt Centric Egypt: A Milestone in Brand Growth
Ludwig Bouldoukian, regional vice president of development at Hyatt, expressed excitement about the milestone. He stated, “This signing marks the debut of the Hyatt Centric brand in Africa, showcasing our commitment to expanding our lifestyle portfolio and brand presence in important markets.”

Hyatt’s African Acceleration
Upon its opening, Hyatt Centric Cairo West will be the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Egypt and will join the global portfolio of over 50 Hyatt Centric hotels. Hyatt’s continued growth across Africa includes upcoming sites such as Park Hyatt Marrakech and Hyatt Regency Lagos Ikeja.
