Ignite Africa with Luxury Travel at ILTM Africa 2025


INTERNATIONAL LUXURY TRAVEL MARKET AFRICA (ILTM AFRICA) 2025 will showcase Cape Town’s artistic side, merging luxury travel with African art and culture.
International Luxury Travel Market Africa (ILTMA) is set to host its 2025 event, themed ‘Ignite Africa with Luxury Travel,’ at the prestigious Norval Foundation in Cape Town from April 6-8. This new venue shift from Kirstenbosch Gardens highlights the growing role of art in luxury tourism.
Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis expressed his excitement, noting, “We are thrilled to host the global luxury tourism industry at ILTM Africa 2025. The Norval Foundation, known for its contemporary art museum and sculpture garden, will showcase Cape Town’s artistic essence. It’s an opportunity for delegates to experience our city’s rich culture beyond its natural beauty, food, and wine.”
2025 ILTM Africa: Connecting Art, Travel, and Local Talent
The 2025 ILTM Africa event emphasizes art’s increasing significance in luxury tourism. Megan De Jager, Portfolio Director of ILTM Africa, shared, “Cultural immersion is now central to the luxury travel experience. The Norval Foundation offers an ideal space to explore this trend, combining art and luxury in one spectacular venue.”
By incorporating art, ILTM Africa aims to highlight the city’s cultural appeal while fostering business opportunities for exhibitors and buyers. The event will also feature a new segment called ‘In Conversation,’ encouraging thought-provoking discussions and innovative exchanges within the luxury travel sector.
The Norval Foundation provides a stunning setting that blends world-class art with Cape Town’s natural beauty. Caroline Greyling, Museum Director, stated, “We are excited to introduce our international guests to African art, showcasing local talent and supporting art education.”
