IKEJA HOTEL PLC HAS APPOINTED NGOZI EDOZIEN AND KEMI ADEOYE AS NEW DIRECTORS TO ITS BOARD. THE APPOINTMENT IS EXPECTED TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMPANY’S GROWTH AND SUCCESS.


On 5 May, Ikeja Hotel Plc, a Nigerian hospitality company, announced the addition of two new directors to its board through a notification to the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the public.

The company’s majority shareholders replaced Alexander Thomopulos with Ngozi Edozien, who now represents OMA Investments Limited. Additionally, Kemi Adeoye was nominated by Honeywell Group to replace Fadeke Olugbemi-Oba as their representative.

Both Ms Edozien and Mrs Adeoye were appointed as Directors to fill the vacant positions left by the resignations, and their appointments will be ratified at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on 26 July.

The announcement highlighted the directors’ skills and experience in contributing to the board’s efforts to steer the company towards continued growth and success. Ikeja Hotel Plc also assured its shareholders that the new directors had undergone the necessary due diligence checks and met all regulatory requirements.

Ngozi Edozien, the Managing Director of InVivo Partners Ltd, has 30+ years of experience in finance, consulting, operational management, and board governance. Kemi Adeoye is the CFO at Honeywell Group and has over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and corporate treasury management.
