Morocco, Africa’s fastest-growing hospitality market, is gaining attention as it prepares to co-host the FIFA 2030 World Cup with Portugal and Spain. To spotlight its thriving tourism and hospitality sector, the inaugural “Morocco Showcase Summit: Tourism, Hospitality, Invest” is set to take place from November 19 to 20 at the Marriott Hotel in Casablanca. This summit aims to attract international investors, developers, and hospitality leaders to explore Morocco’s booming market.

Morocco Showcase Summit: Tourism, Hospitality, Invest

The bilingual summit, organized by Société Marocaine d’Ingénierie Touristique (SMIT) and API Events, will delve into Morocco’s innovative investment initiatives. The country is targeting 26 million annual visitors by 2030, doubling its current numbers. Initiatives such as the CAP Hospitality Fund and strategic infrastructure investments are key to achieving this ambitious goal.

SMIT’s efforts to modernize Morocco’s hotel sector include partnerships with global hotel brands and investment promotion agencies. With a rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and its strategic location connecting Europe, Africa, and the Americas, Morocco offers significant opportunities for investors in tourism and hospitality.

Hospitality Leaders Highlight Opportunities

“Now is the ideal time to invest in Morocco’s hospitality market,” said Imad Barrakad, Chairman and CEO of SMIT. The agency is dedicated to supporting hotel and leisure developments as tourism demand soars. Investors entering the market can capitalize on this growth and secure a foothold before the 2030 World Cup further boosts tourism.
