Morocco’s tourism sector continues its upward trajectory, with a generation of 41B plus dirhams in hard currency in last year. This remarkable achievement, marking a substantial 42% surge from pre-COVID 2019 levels, underlines the industry’s resilient recovery and promising prospects for continued growth.
Moreover, CNN spotlighted Morocco as a top destination for 2024, recognizing its diverse landscapes and sustainable tourism initiatives. Lifestyle Capital placed Morocco among the top seven African countries to visit in 2024, solidifying its global appeal.
With major events like the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup on the horizon, a bright future is anticipated.
Morocco Tourism Awards: Recognizing Excellence Across the Board

Hivernage Collection claimed the Hotel Group of the Year, while Noury Saladinn received the Hotelier of the Year award. Adel El Fakir, CEO of the Moroccan National Tourist Office, was elected Personality of the Year, acknowledging his commitment to the sector.
