NEWMARK HOTELS AND RESERVES INTRODUCES FUTURE FOUND SANCTUARY, A UNIQUE WELLNESS RETREAT NESTLED BENEATH CAPE TOWN’S TABLE MOUNTAIN, OFFERING EXCLUSIVE STAND-ALONE VILLAS, LUSH GARDENS, AND A RANGE OF PERSONALIZED WELLNESS EXPERIENCES. THIS REGENERATIVE TRAVEL DESTINATION COMBINES LUXURY ACCOMMODATIONS WITH HOLISTIC PRACTICES, CREATING AN UNPARALLELED SANCTUARY FOR REJUVENATION AND CONNECTION TO NATURE.

Newmark Hotels and Reserves, renowned for its prestigious hotels and private game reserves, proudly expands its portfolio with the addition of Future Found Sanctuary. Nestled on the southern slopes of Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain, this private wellness retreat offers a fresh and unparalleled experience.

Future Found Sanctuary comprises two exquisite stand-alone villas that can be exclusively booked or reserved by individual rooms. Maison Noir, an expansive five-bedroom villa, showcases a signature elemental design aesthetic, adorned with bespoke furniture and an esteemed collection of South African fine art. The villa features a 90-square meter Grand Master Suite with breathtaking views of Table Mountain, a 72-square meter Master Suite boasting its own parking, entrance, and luxurious patio garden, and three 50-square meter Luxury Suites, each with a loft.

Villa Verte, a four-bedroom architectural masterpiece, captivates with custom-designed furnishings embodying a timeless aesthetic representative of contemporary South African interiors. The villa boasts a 90-square meter Grand Master Suite offering magnificent mountain and treetop views, a 54-square meter Luxury Suite overlooking the Hout Bay valley and surrounding mountains, as well as two 37-square meter Luxury Rooms.

When guests book one of the villas for their private use, they get complete access to the kitchens, which come equipped with a wide range of cookbooks. They can also enjoy complimentary access to the snack bar and make use of the fresh produce from the kitchen gardens. Furthermore, Future Found Sanctuary provides the option to hire a private chef for an exceptional culinary experience.

Both secluded villas provide unrestricted access to the retreat’s 6-acre grounds, featuring five meticulously landscaped gardens. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the healing benefits of plants, forage for fresh produce, harvest fruit from a variety of trees, or simply relax and rejuvenate in carefully curated meditation spaces that overlook a mesmerizing amphitheater of mountains. The estate also offers a wine cellar, movie theatre, two heated pools, and a cold water plunge pool, enhancing the overall experience.

Leading the sanctuary’s horticultural endeavors is Cherise Viljoen, a master horticulturist who previously collaborated with Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens for many years. Situated alongside the Table Mountain National Park, both Future Found Sanctuary and Kirstenbosch share an uninterrupted fynbos corridor, allowing for the exchange of beautiful plant species.

Future Found Sanctuary offers a wide range of personalized wellness retreats and activities tailored to meet your specific needs. These include yoga sessions, hiking in the Table Mountain Nature Reserve, sound healing, Tai Chi, forest bathing (an eco-mindfulness practice), personal training, Middle Eastern Rasul (mud treatment therapy), guided meditation, kinesiology, biokineticist assessments, conscious breathwork, and massages.

Neil Markovitz, CEO of Newmark Hotels and Reserves, expresses his gratitude for Future Found Sanctuary joining their distinctive properties. He describes the sanctuary as a forward-thinking, innovative, and exceptional destination that rejuvenates the soil in its gardens, fosters connections between guests and the local community and environment, and supports South African artisans through its interior design and shop.

Future Found Sanctuary becomes a noteworthy addition to Newmark’s exclusive collection of world-class establishments. In December 2022, the company introduced Qwabi Private Game Reserve, a UNESCO-accredited region spanning 11,000 hectares in Limpopo Province. Moreover, Newmark has recently announced its expansion into the Cape Winelands with the forthcoming launch of The Hazendal, a luxurious hotel situated on the Hazendal Wine Estate.
