ROTANA HOTELS ANNOUNCES PLANS TO ENTER FIVE NEW COUNTRIES BY 2026, INCLUDING THE UK, GEORGIA, AND AFRICAN NATIONS.


Rotana Hotels has unveiled plans to expand its reach into five new countries by 2026, as announced at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM). With a focus on offering distinct hospitality experiences, Rotana aims to introduce its renowned services to a broader global audience.

In 2024, the brand has already inaugurated three new properties across different regions. These include Dar Rayhaan by Rotana in Al Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riviera Rayhaan in Doha, Qatar, and Bomonti Arjaan in Istanbul, Türkiye. These openings mark the beginning of the brand’s ambitious expansion strategy in UK, Europe, Middle East and African countries.

Rotana’s entry into the United Kingdom will see the launch of Centro New Malden and Centro Kingston, its first two properties in the region. Additionally, the brand will debut in Georgia with Pontus Resort & Spa, Gonio, adding 600 keys to its global portfolio. In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the brand plans to double its key count with nine new properties over the next four years.

Rotana Expanding Presence in Africa and Beyond

The brand is set to make its mark in new African territories, with plans to debut in Algeria, Senegal, and Benin. In Q3 2024, the Algerian market will welcome Azure Rotana Thalasso & Resort, marking Rotana’s entry into the country. In Senegal, the bustling city of Dakar will see the introduction of a new 150-key Arjaan Hotel Apartments. Additionally, The Brand has inked a management agreement for a five-star resort in Benin, bolstering its presence in West Africa.

In Egypt, anticipation is building for the launch of luxury resorts Luxor Rotana and Palma Bay Rotana Resort, alongside two new hotel projects in Cairo. Among these projects is the five-star White Palace Rotana, boasting 353 keys and a range of dining options.

Continued Growth and Expansion

Rotana’s footprint extends across 76 hotels in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye, accommodating over six million guests annually. With a robust pipeline of 10,420 keys, spanning six renowned brands, the brand’s expansion efforts include 40 international hotels and seven new properties in the UAE alone.

This expansion underscores Rotana’s commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences globally, catering to the evolving needs of travelers across diverse markets.
