SODIC AND MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL WILL INTRODUCE THE TRIBUTE PORTFOLIO BRAND TO EGYPT, WITH NEW HOTELS IN WEST CAIRO AND THE NORTH COAST, ENHANCING THE COUNTRY’S HOSPITALITY SECTOR.


SODIC and Marriott International, Inc. have signed an agreement to bring the Tribute Portfolio brand to Egypt. Two new hotels in West Cairo and the North Coast will join this growing family of independent hotels. These properties will feature captivating designs and vibrant social experiences.

Slated to open in 2027, the Tribute Portfolio Hotel at Forty West in West Cairo will offer 170 guestrooms, including 48 suites. The hotel will provide multiple dining options and recreational facilities. Located in SODIC West, it will be easily accessible from the new Sphinx Airport and a short drive from the Grand Egyptian Museum and Giza Pyramids.

Tribute Portfolio Hotel in West Cairo

The second Tribute Portfolio Hotel will open in 2029 in June, a Miami-inspired beachfront destination on the North Coast. This hotel will feature 180 guestrooms along with various dining and leisure facilities. The development will offer access to a sandy beach, pristine sea water, a bustling boardwalk, and a beach club. It will also include residential villas and serviced apartments.

SODIC’s General Manager, Ayman Amer, expressed excitement about the collaboration with Marriott International. He emphasized that this partnership highlights SODIC’s commitment to working with global industry experts to add value to their developments. Amer stated that the Tribute Portfolio brand will allow SODIC to create hospitality offerings that reflect their developments’ ethos.

He highlighted that these two Tribute Portfolio Hotels mark a significant milestone for the brand in Egypt. Walia expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with SODIC to bring authentic and vibrant experiences to West Cairo and the North Coast.

Expanding Marriott’s Presence in Egypt

Tribute Portfolio is a global family of nearly 120 independent hotels across over 25 countries. This brand focuses on captivating design and creating vibrant social scenes. The new hotels in Egypt will expand Marriott’s presence, adding to its current portfolio of 18 properties and over 7,000 rooms in operation across the country.

These developments will enhance Egypt’s hospitality landscape, offering unique and engaging experiences for both guests and locals.
