Wego partners with Egyptian Tourism Authority to promote tourism in Egypt
WEGO HAS PARTNERED WITH THE EGYPTIAN TOURISM AUTHORITY TO PROMOTE TOURISM IN EGYPT, SHOWCASING ITS RICH HISTORY, CULTURE, AND ATTRACTIONS. THE CAMPAIGN, “IN EGYPT, YOUR EXPECTATIONS ARE HISTORY,” WILL HIGHLIGHT EGYPT’S SUMMER AND EID AL ADHA CELEBRATIONS, INCLUDING FESTIVALS, EVENTS, AND ATTRACTIONS, AND WILL OFFER A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE TO USERS WITH A SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION TO REWARD TRAVELERS.
Wego, the largest online travel marketplace in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), partners with Egyptian Tourism Authority to promote tourism in Egypt. The campaign, titled “In Egypt, your expectations are history,” aims to showcase the country’s rich history, culture, and tourism opportunities.
Wego will work closely with the Egyptian Tourism Authority to promote the campaign across all its marketing channels, highlighting Egypt’s summer and Eid Al Adha celebrations, including festivals, events, and attractions. Mamoun Hmedan, CCO and MD, MENA and India, Wego, said that Egypt is an ideal destination for travelers looking for a mix of history, culture, and adventure. A comprehensive guide highlighting the best places to visit, things to do, and experiences to enjoy will be presented to Wego’s users.
A social media competition will also be held to give people the chance to visit Egypt. Egypt offers a variety of activities and experiences for visitors during summer and Eid Al Adha, including exploring ancient monuments such as the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the temples of Luxor and Aswan. Amr ElKady, CEO of Egyptian Tourism Authority, expressed excitement in partnering with Wego, stating that with Egypt’s rich cultural heritage and diverse landscape and Wego’s large user base in MENA, they are confident in attracting more visitors to Egypt.
