In a significant development, Christine Ramdiane takes the helm as the new General Manager of La Maison d’Ete in Mauritius. This luxurious boutique hotel is a flagship property in Newmark Hotels & Reserves’ Indian Ocean portfolio, acquired in 2020, and recently underwent extensive refurbishments, concluding in 2022.
Ramdiane, known for her rich experience, assumes her role immediately, starting her career in Paris and progressing to Product Director for Mauritius. She also held roles in sales and marketing, including Sales and Marketing Manager at Heritage Resorts in Mauritius, and holds a Higher National Diploma in Tourism. Notably, she’s the youngest General Manager appointed by Accor for a 5-star luxury hotel in Mauritius.
