In a significant move, Minor Hotels, a global player in the hospitality industry, has inked a deal for the development of Anantara Zanzibar Resort, marking the brand’s foray into Tanzania.

Minor Hotels Middle East, Africa & India’s Senior Vice President, Amir Golbarg, and Infinity Group’s Chairman Samuel Saba recently led a signing ceremony, solidifying plans for the 181-key Anantara Zanzibar Resort, scheduled to welcome guests in 2027.

Featuring 37 luxury suites, a presidential villa, and an array of sea-view villas, Anantara Zanzibar Resort promises a distinctive blend of contemporary decor and regional influences. Private pools, lagoon access, and breathtaking views ensure an elegant beachside escape.

Strategically designed with water features, the resort aims to cater to both leisure and extended-stay markets. The culinary scene will be a highlight, boasting six restaurants and bars, including a beach grill, a beach club bar, and a thematic tikki bar.
