The Winchester Hotel’s Newest Offerings in Luxury and Relaxation

Here are the Winchester Hotel’s spaces where they are revamping their offerings:

The Sanctuary Spa

Nestled within the Arcadia heritage building, once the family residence of the hotel’s owners, the new Sanctuary Spa invites patrons on a journey back in time. Boasting only three treatment rooms, the spa seamlessly merges classical aesthetics with contemporary wellness, offering an array of unique therapies inspired by global practices.

Curated by The Sanctuary Spa Group, The Winchester’s new treatments also include everything from reflexology to CBD sports massages, providing a sanctuary for restoration. Noteworthy is the Absolute Spa Escape package, a 2.5-hour retreat combining breathwork, sound healing as well as massage techniques using fynbos oils and hot lava shells.

The Luxurious Arcadia Suite

The first floor of the heritage building now hosts the opulent Arcadia Suite, featuring two spacious ensuite bedrooms and a tranquil lounge. Guests can unwind on the plantation-style balcony, adorned with wicker armchairs, creating an inviting space for relaxation.

Shoreditch Restaurant

In perfect timing for festive dining, Shoreditch Restaurant reveals its updated interior, boasting vibrant additions such as petrol blue leather booths and parasol-style lampshades in a coral hue. Encouraging communal plate sharing, the restaurant by The Winchester also showcases signature dishes like the dirty rib-eye steak and the 1.2kg Florentine steak, all expertly crafted with open-flame and coal style precision.

Harvey’s Bar

Harvey’s Bar, a cherished gathering spot for decades, is now aglow with a gleaming Art Deco bar and an invigorating cocktail menu. Recognized by TimeOut, the venue radiates with ochre stools, leather-upholstered booths, and hand-painted ceiling murals, offering a refreshing atmosphere for sundowners and celebrations.

The Winchester Hotel team is buzzing with anticipation as they unveil these significant refurbishments. Walda Lloyd, GM for The Winchester Hotel, expresses confidence that patrons will revel in the enhancements for an even more delightful stay.
