Virgin Hotels Collection Expands with New Riads in Morocco
VIRGIN HOTELS COLLECTION EXPANDS WITH NEW RIADS IN MOROCCO, OFFERING LUXURY ACCOMMODATIONS AND CULINARY DELIGHTS. JOINING FORCES WITH VIRGIN LIMITED EDITION, THE BRAND EMBARKS ON A JOURNEY OF GROWTH AND INNOVATION.
Virgin Limited Edition is going to unveil an exciting addition to its portfolio with the opening of six brand new Riads at Kasbah Tamadot. Nestled in the Atlas Mountains, Kasbah Tamadot is famous for its Berber hospitality and breathtaking views of Mount Toubkal. Following partial closure and restoration efforts after earthquake, the hotel will fully reopen its doors on October 15th, 2024.
The newly designed Riads, scheduled to open on July 1st, offer an unparalleled experience. Each one of them is boasting three bedrooms, private bathrooms, lounge areas, and terraces. Surpassing expectations, these Riads now feature an additional bedroom, accommodating up to 10 guests. A standout addition to the collection is the Rooftop Tented Suite. Which is comprising two interconnected tents with a hot tub on the expansive roof terrace.
Guests can enjoy the rich cultural tapestry of Morocco, with interiors adorned in traditional Moroccan style and soft furnishings crafted by local Berber artisans supported by The Eve Branson Foundation. The Riads will offer exclusive pool areas and access to the hotel’s amenities, ensuring privacy as well as luxury.
Asayss: A New Restaurant at Kasbah Tamadot
Adding to the allure of Kasbah Tamadot is the opening of Asayss. It is a new restaurant and lounge overseen by Executive Chef Yassine Khalal. Inspired by traditional Moroccan gathering spaces, Asayss will showcase a menu celebrating the finest local and international cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from the hotel’s kitchen garden.
The restoration efforts at Kasbah Tamadot symbolize resilience, with the hotel’s team and local Berber communities rallying together in the wake of adversity. Through initiatives like the Earthquake Emergency Relief Fund, the hotel and its charitable arm, The Eve Branson Foundation, have raised substantial funds to support relief efforts and rebuild the affected communities.
