AfCFTA Forum on Tourism, Creatives, and Cultural Industries Launch

The first AfCFTA Forum on Tourism, Creatives, and Cultural Industries is scheduled to take place in Botswana. The launch will take place during the Africa Tourism Leadership Forum & Awards from 4 to 6 October 2023 at the Gaborone International Conference Centre. This event underscores the integration between tourism and creative industries.

Partnerships to Stimulate Intra-Africa Travel

The AfCFTA Secretariat and Africa Tourism Partners (ATP) join forces to host the inaugural Forum on Tourism, Creatives, and Cultural Industries. This aims to engage Pan-African travel stakeholders, fostering the continent’s creative assets and promoting intra-Africa travel. The forum also introduces the Africa Tourism Private Sector Alliance (ATPSA), leveraging AfCFTA opportunities.

The 2023 ATLF & Awards, themed “Shifting Demand Dynamics to Shape Intra-Africa Travel’s Future,” offers networking, business opportunities, and learning programs. Experts, Ministers, CEOs, and Entrepreneurs lead discussions on travel, culture, investment, digitalization, and more.
