Guy Hutchinson Appointed as Hilton’s President for Middle East & Africa

Hilton (NYSE: HLT) welcomes Guy Hutchinson as President of Middle East & Africa, starting in 2024. Hutchinson rejoins Hilton after a decade, having led Rotana Hotels & Resorts in Abu Dhabi. He boasts 16 years at Hilton, spanning regions like Europe, China, and India.
The appointment follows the passing of Jochem-Jan Sleiffer in April 2023. Sleiffer dedicated 33 years to Hilton, leaving a legacy of growth and excellence in the European and Middle Eastern markets. Hutchinson took on his new role in early 2024, based in Dubai, reporting to Simon Vincent CBE, EVP & President, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Hilton.
Vincent emphasizes the significance of this leadership role. Hutchinson’s expertise, regional knowledge, and alignment with Hilton’s culture are highlighted. Under Hutchinson’s leadership, the Middle East & Africa region is expected to build on its current momentum.
