IHG® Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a management agreement with Urbnlanes Development to bring two new Crowne Plaza hotels to Egypt. These hotels, Crowne Plaza Cairo New Administrative Capital and Crowne Plaza New Cairo Yellow, are set to open in 2028.

These new Crowne Plaza hotels will blend premium hospitality with convenience. They aim to offer a seamless experience for both leisure and business guests. The hotels will provide flexible options that balance work and relaxation.

Crowne Plaza Cairo New Administrative Capital will be in the heart of the New Administrative Capital. It will offer easy access to government ministries, embassies, and finance houses. The hotel will feature three dining options, including a sky bar. Additionally, it will have five well-appointed meeting venues for corporate guests.

Crowne Plaza New Cairo Yellow will be part of the ‘Yellow’ mixed-use development project in New Cairo. It will be close to business parks and Cairo International Airport. The hotel will offer an all-day dining restaurant and a Club Lounge. Moreover, it will feature five meeting and event venues, including a ballroom.

Haitham Mattar, Managing Director of IHG for India, the Middle East, and Africa, expressed excitement about the new hotels.
