KENYA TOURISM BOARD INITIATES A FOUR-MONTH-LONG CAMPAIGN IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NETWORK 18 TO CAPTURE THE INDIAN MARKET, FOCUSING ON ENHANCING AWARENESS, DRIVING CONVERSIONS, AND ESTABLISHING LONG-TERM BONDS WITH TRAVEL TRADE.
Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) is set to revolutionize its approach, launching a compelling marketing campaign designed to incentivize travel agents and position Kenya as the premier travel destination. This consumer-focused initiative, aimed at the Indian market, marks a significant leap forward for Kenya’s tourism sector.
Running for four months, from February to June 2024, the campaign seeks to leave a lasting impact on the Indian travel landscape, solidifying Kenya’s position as the go-to destination in Africa.

This campaign is a collaborative effort with Network 18, one of India’s largest multi-platform destinations for news and infotainment. With a dual focus on engaging both trade partners and consumers, the campaign aims to significantly enhance awareness and drive conversions in the vibrant Indian market.
John Chirchir, the Acting CEO of the Kenya Tourism Board, underscores the campaign’s importance, stating, “India stands as a pivotal market for Kenya in the realm of travel and tourism.” He expresses confidence that the initiative will not only strengthen Kenya’s foothold in the dynamic Indian landscape but also exceed expectations, positioning Kenya prominently in the minds of Indian travelers.
Collaborating with Network 18, renowned for its wide-reaching influence, the campaign also aims to create a powerful synergy between trade partners and consumers. Moreover, Neeti Sharma, Director of Intrepid Marketing and Communications, emphasizes the strategic advantage of partnering with a well-known platform in the Indian market. “We aim to showcase the wonders of Kenya to the Indian audience, creating a powerful synergy that will drive demand and position Kenya as the ultimate travel destination in Africa,” she asserts.
