Carl’s journey in hospitality began with his studies in Sales and Marketing. He has served as a General Manager, Group Hospitality Director, and has taken the lead in opening new hotels. Since 2007, Carl has been involved in new business development, initially creating a local economy brand of hotels for international investors. In the last decade, he moved on to a global group. He played a pivotal role in supporting their vision with rapid expansion throughout Africa as the African Development Director.
Passionate about linking hospitality experiences in different countries under a single brand, Carl envisions providing customers with a consistent and efficient travel experience that adheres to the high standards, comfort, and security associated with the Newmark brand promise.
