Radisson Hotel Group has achieved significant growth in the first half of 2023, focusing on strategic expansion Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. The group made milestone openings and signings, including the addition of the art’otel brand that blends art with lifestyle, providing unique offerings to owners and guests.

EMEA Growth

The first half of 2023 saw remarkable growth in the EMEA region, with the addition of over 8,000 keys through signings and openings in various destinations like Greece, Germany, UK, Italy, Switzerland, France, Saudi Arabia, and Nigeria. Among the key developments were the opening of Radisson Collection Hotel Santa Sofia Milan, the signings of Radisson Blu Hotel, Rome EUR, Radisson Blu Hotel, Abuja CBD, Radisson RED Edinburgh Airport, and a new Radisson long-stay property in Zurich, making it the largest hotel in the region.

Radisson has signed agreements for the opening of new properties in Ferrara, Cyprus, and Turkey. These locations include Radisson properties in Ferrara, Radisson Residences Limassol in Cyprus, and Radisson Hotel Mersin in Turkey, and are expected to open in Q1 2024.

Here they have consistently led in the market share for the last 36 months. Their African portfolio experienced a commendable 15 percent growth year-on-year. The Brand is on track to reach their objective of having 150 hotels within the next five years. Ramsay emphasized their successful conversion strategy, which has contributed to their remarkable rate of materialization and openings.
