Daniel Karbownik, with a remarkable 30-year career in global tourism and hospitality, steps into his new role. His journey began in 1987 with Club Méditerranée, leading to notable positions in North and West Africa. His 12-year stint at Accor showcases a consistent drive for challenges, notably propelling regional growth in West and Central Africa.
In a strategic move, Karbownik widens his operational oversight to include all Sub-Saharan Africa hotels. From luxury to economy segments, his leadership will shape Accor’s footprint across the diverse hospitality landscape. Stationed in Abidjan, he collaborates closely with Jonathan Sheard, Senior VP of Operations for Accor MEA.
