Yves Giacometti has been appointed General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo in Egypt, overseeing multiple properties and a pipeline of upcoming hotels and resorts.


Yves Giacometti, who previously served as Regional Vice President and General Manager, has now been appointee as the Hotel’s Regional Vice President and General Manager. He will oversee multiple properties and a pipeline of upcoming properties. Four Seasons plans to expand its portfolio with its development partner, Talaat Mostafa Group (TMG), in Egypt. The brand entered Egypt and the Middle East 22 years ago and is thrilled to continue working with TMG to provide guests and residents with an unmatched luxury experience in Egypt.

Giacometti is excited about his move to Cairo and overseeing the iconic Nile Plaza Four Seasons Hotel in Cairo. The hotel has 365 rooms and suites, most with private terraces overlooking the Nile, contemporary interiors featuring one of the largest collections of local Egyptian art, and diverse dining options.

In 2025, Four Seasons plans to open the Four Seasons Hotel New Cairo Capital, which will be set on 185 hectares and feature 346 rooms and suites and 107 villas, and 80 luxury residences.

Giacometti is also eagerly anticipating the opening of Four Seasons Hotel Luxor, located just south of the highly acclaimed Luxor Temple and will feature over 200 guest rooms and suites that overlook the Nile River, Valley of the Kings, and Valley of the Queens.

Upon arriving in Cairo, Giacometti threw himself into local culture and came with his family, wife Lorena, and four-year-old son Mateo, who were excited to explore the hidden gems of Egypt.
