Africa’s Tallest Hotel, Taycoon Tower, Launched in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital
Nile Developments partnered with Millennium Hotels and Resorts to operate and manage the Taycoon Tower, Africa’s tallest hotel, in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. The company specializes in developing skyscrapers and collaborating with international experts to ensure their projects meet the latest international standards in design and construction.
The ceremony for launching Africa’s tallest hotel, the Taycoon Tower, in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) was attended by Khaled Abbas, the Chairperson and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD). During the event, Abbas highlighted that ACUD maintains consistent communication with all developers to assist them in overcoming challenges and that the company strives to attract foreign investments. Additionally, Abbas stated that the state provides all necessary means of support for foreign investors entering Egypt’s real estate market, especially the NAC.
Abbas further emphasized that the NAC project is not only a real estate venture but also presents new opportunities for investment in numerous economic sectors, including education, health, and infrastructure.
Mohamed Taher, the Chairperson of Nile Developments, announced that his company has partnered with Millennium Hotels and Resorts to operate and manage the Taycoon Tower hotel, which stands 233 meters high. That is the first time the global trademark in hospitality management has tapped into the Egyptian and African markets.
Taher revealed that Nile Developments is the first Egyptian private real estate developer to specialize in developing skyscrapers and commenced operations in the NAC’s Downtown area in 2021. He stated that the company’s studies have shown that buildings with a maximum of 60 floors have a high economic return and added value for buyers. Furthermore, Nile Developments collaborates with international experts on its state-of-the-art projects according to the latest international standards in design and construction.
To ensure their projects meet the highest standards, Nile Developments has contracted with SIAC company and joined hands with ACE Moharram.Bakhoum and Imad El-Sherbiny. These firms have supervised the construction of some of the most famous and tallest skyscrapers in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
Nile Developments owns two significant projects in the Downtown area on the tourist towers strip: the Nile Business City project, the highest vertical city at 233 meters and consists of four towers, including the recently launched administrative tower and Nile City Center, the commercial center of the project.
