In a groundbreaking partnership, Zanzibar’s Government collaborates with Urban Icon International to unveil a world-class Sports and Entertainment Oasis in the stunning Fumba region. Spearheaded by NBA veteran Charles D. Smith, this venture aims to redefine Zanzibar’s cultural and recreational landscape.

Urban Icon, founded in August 2022, secured prime beachfront property in January 2023. The completion of a 10,000-seat Sports Arena and a 220-room 4-star hotel is anticipated by the second half of 2025.
