Accor Signs Deal with Naia Developments for Swissôtel in Ras El Hekma
ACCORD AND NAIA DEVELOPMENTS PARTNER TO LAUNCH TWO SWISSÔTEL PROPERTIES IN RAS EL HEKMA, BOOSTING EGYPT’S COASTAL TOURISM AND RESIDENTIAL MARKET.
Accor, a leading hospitality group, has signed an agreement with Naia Developments to launch two Swissôtel properties on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast in Ras El Hekma. This marks the debut of the Swissôtel brand in this region.
Accor’s Agreement for Swissôtel in Ras El Hekma
The agreement includes the development of Swissôtel Ras El Hekma and Swissôtel Residences Ras El Hekma. Both properties are set to open in Q3 2027. This move will strengthen Accor’s presence on Egypt’s North Coast.
Prime Seafront Location for Swissôtel
Swissôtel Ras El Hekma and Swissôtel Residences Ras El Hekma will offer a prime seafront location. The properties will feature 250 hotel rooms and 100 branded residences. Guests will enjoy extensive wellness amenities, refined comfort, and panoramic sea views.
The properties aim to provide a unique holiday experience and residential investment opportunities. The year-round destination will appeal to those seeking coastal living.
Exclusive Benefits and Global Recognition
Swissôtel Residences Ras El Hekma joins other Swissôtel branded projects in Egypt, Türkiye, Qatar, Georgia, and Vietnam. The location, near the Ras El Hekma Giga project, offers exclusive benefits from the Accor Ownership Benefits program. This includes VIP privileges worldwide and elevated status in Accor’s lifestyle loyalty program, ALL – Accor Live Limitless.

Dining and Wellness Offerings
Swissôtel Ras El Hekma and Swissôtel Residences Ras El Hekma will feature international dining options, including two restaurants, a beach and pool bar, and a lounge. Guests can enjoy world-class cuisine along the beautiful coastline.
The properties will also include a Purovel Spa, a fitness center, a beach club, and MICE facilities. These will include a 1,000 square meter ballroom and four meeting rooms, catering to various events and gatherings.
Boost to Egypt’s Coastal Tourism

The project signals a new era for Egypt’s coastal tourism industry, bringing international attention to Ras El Hekma. The North Coast of Egypt, known for its white sandy beaches and blue waters, has long been popular among Egyptians and Gulf Cooperation Council nationals.
Major Investment in Ras El Hekma
Ras El Hekma recently secured a $35 billion investment from the UAE-based Abu Dhabi Sovereign Wealth Fund (ADQ). The investment will transform the 130 million square meter coastline into a year-round city with residential, hospitality, and educational developments, making it a prime location for residential investment.
Accor’s expansion in Egypt includes 24 hotels with over 5,000 keys in its premium, midscale, and economy portfolio, and 40 hotels with over 12,000 keys in its luxury and lifestyle portfolio. In addition to the Swissôtel properties in Ras El Hekma, Accor plans to add five more properties under its premium, midscale, and economy brands by 2027. This will encompass more than 1,000 keys across 16 properties. The group will also add over 4,600 keys to its luxury and lifestyle portfolio.
