The convergence of business and leisure travel, commonly known as ‘bleisure,’ is a dominant trend, capturing a substantial 92% of respondents. Post-pandemic travel demand and the rise of remote work contribute to the surge in ‘bleisure’ tourists. African Hospitality Confidence Index indicate the global ‘bleisure’ market could more than double to $731.4 billion by 2032.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors take center stage, with 89% of respondents considering ESG actions pivotal for long-term success. Though there is unanimous agreement on the importance of sustainability, there remains work to be done in implementing green measures. Notably, those adopting ESG measures report a positive impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty, with 57% acknowledging the benefits.
