IHG Partners with Arkan Palm Expands Luxury Portfolio in Cairo with Two New Hotel Signings

Cairo, Egypt: IHG Hotels & Resorts, a leading global hotel company, is further enhancing its presence in Egypt through a partnership with Arkan Palm for Real Estate Investment, one of the country’s prominent developers. The collaboration aims to establish two new hotels in Cairo: InterContinental West Cairo 205, slated to open in January 2028, and voco West Cairo 205 Suites, scheduled for a June 2026 opening.

Strategically situated within Arkan Palm for Real Estate Investment’s upcoming mixed-use development, known as 205 an Arkan Palm Development, the hotels will be located in West Cairo—a highly sought-after area in Egypt. Spanning over one million square meters, the development will encompass office spaces, residential units, retail outlets, business parks, healthcare facilities, an international school, and a groundbreaking Canal Walk Island featuring residential and retail spaces, a first-of-its-kind concept in Egypt.

This dual hotel signing will introduce 390 rooms to IHG’s Egypt portfolio, addressing the growing demand for luxury and premium guest experiences in the region. The agreement underscores IHG’s dedication to the Egyptian market and reflects the trust that its long-term partners place in the company and its brand portfolio.
