Rotana proudly marks its 15th consecutive year of participation at WTM London, a significant global travel industry event. At this year’s gathering, the company highlights its robust pipeline across the MENAT region, showcasing its latest brand, Edge by Rotana.

Edge by Rotana: A Distinctive Collection of Properties

In May 2022, Rotana introduced Edge by Rotana, a unique collection of independent properties that maintain their individuality while leveraging Rotana’s extensive network and systems. With a vision to operate approximately 30 Edge by 2027, Rotana recently announced the openings of two new Edge by Rotana-managed hotels in Dubai. The hotels are namely Arabian Park and Damac Hills 2. Additionally, an agreement has been signed for an Edge by Rotana hotel in Istanbul at WTM.

Fortifying its Position in the Middle East’s Hospitality Market

Rotana continues to solidify its prominent position in the Middle East’s thriving hospitality market. The company has signed agreements for several upcoming openings, including Bloom Arjaan by Rotana, located on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island in the UAE. In Oman, a new Rotana hotel in Muscat’s Al Mouj Development is set to welcome guests in the first quarter of next year. Additionally, Rotana has secured The Residences by Rotana, which will offer villa accommodations in Bodrum, a picturesque port city on Turkey’s southwest coast along the Aegean Sea. Qatar will also witness the launch of two new Rotana properties: Bin Al Sheikh Residences by Rotana and Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana, adding a total of 688 keys to Rotana’s existing portfolio in Doha.

Expanding Horizons into Africa and Beyond

Rotana is going to make its mark in the Algerian market with the scheduled opening of Azure Rotana Resort & Spa in Oran during the second quarter of 2023. In Egypt, Rotana plans to introduce the Luxor Rotana by the end of 2023, alongside six other hotels in New Cairo and the popular North Coast in 2024. Additionally, Rotana recently signed an initial agreement for a remarkable five-star resort in the West African nation of Benin.

This year, Rotana proudly announced the opening of Dana Rayhaan by Rotana, the first five-star hotel in Dammam, as well as Slemani Rotana in Sulaymaniyah. Furthermore, Johari Rotana in Tanzania has been revitalized and reintroduced to offer memorable experiences to guests.

Guy Hutchinson, Rotana’s President and CEO, expressed his optimism at WTM London, stating, “After a year of remarkable performance and continuous expansion, we are gearing up for an even more promising 2023.
