Kasada to Build New Dual-Branded Hotel in Abidjan’s Thriving Retail-Led Development

Kasada, a prominent developer, has announced its plans to construct a new dual-branded hotel in Abidjan as part of the largest retail-led mixed-use development in Côte D’Ivoire.
Scheduled to open in 2024, the forthcoming complex aims to obtain certification from EDGE, the World Bank’s renowned green building program. With a focus on sustainability, it will comprise more than 150 hotel rooms, a shopping center with over 60 stores, dining establishments, a mini entertainment park, offices, a co-working space, and a clinic.
Olivier Granet, the Managing Partner and CEO of Kasada, expressed his pride in introducing the first internationally branded hotels to the Angré district. He emphasized that the project would not only benefit their clients but also contribute to the local community. Granet further emphasized Kasada’s commitment to innovation through this groundbreaking initiative in a unique location.
Kasada has chosen to collaborate with an innovative investment company for this greenfield project in West Africa. HCCP, a shopping center in Abidjan’s largest municipality, has held the title of Côte d’Ivoire’s busiest shopping center since 2019.
