SUMMARY – ACCOR HAS PARTNERED WITH KASADA TO OPERATE LAMANTIN BEACH RESORT & SPA, A 166-ROOM PROPERTY IN SALY, SENEGAL’S LARGEST SEASIDE RESORT. THE RESORT HAS A 750-SQUARE-METER SPA AND FITNESS CENTER, EVENT SPACES, AND FAMILY-FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING A KIDS CLUB AND WATER ACTIVITIES.


Accor, a leading hospitality group, signed with Kasada to operate Lamantin Beach Resort & Spa. The resort is in Saly, Senegal‘s largest seaside resort. Saly is 80 kilometers south of Dakar. The property has 166 rooms starting at 28 square meters. It has a 750-square-meter spa and fitness center. There is an all-day restaurant, a specialty seafood restaurant, and a beach lounge.

The resort caters to events. It offers 60 square meters of event space. The spaces overlook the ocean and beach. They host conferences, gatherings, and weddings. Families enjoy activities like a kids club with sports and cultural events. Adults and kids can do water activities, aqua gym, volleyball, dance or language classes, or use the fitness center.

Accor Adds to Senegal Properties

Lamantin Beach Resort & Spa expands our Senegal portfolio,” says Mark Willis, Accor’s CEO for India, Middle East, Africa & Turkey. “We’re happy to again partner with Kasada. Movenpick‘s first Senegal hotel shows our growth and Senegal’s appeal.”

Lamantin Beach Resort & Spa joins Pullman Dakar Teranga, Novotel Dakar and Ibis Dakar. Accor will operate the resort starting October 1, 2022. Renovations will make it a Movenpick hotel by late 2023. Accor has 576 rooms in 3 Senegal properties and 612 rooms in 2 under development. This highlights their Senegal expansion plans.
