SUMMARY – BON HOTELS EXPANDS OFFERING IN KRUGER NATIONAL PARK WITH LAUNCH OF BUCKLER’S AFRICA LODGE, A LUXURY SELF-CATERING LODGE WITH HALAL CERTIFICATION. BON Hotels is expanding in Kruger National Park, opening Buckler’s Africa Lodge in September 2019. The lodge, one of three properties near the park, was acquired by a group of friends to provide a space for sustained business practice through hospitality. The Hotel will manage two of the lodges along with its existing presence in the 4-star Shishangeni.

Buckler’s Africa Lodge is a luxury self-catering lodge with 16 units, offering kitchenettes, bathrooms, and air conditioning. The lodge provides two- to four-sleeper options, making it an ideal destination for romantic retreats and family getaways. It has Halal certification, welcoming Muslim travelers worldwide. Buckler’s Africa Lodge also allows guests to bring their preferred beverages as it is classified as dry.

Buckler’s Africa Lodge by BON Hotels, located along the banks of the Crocodile River, offers guests breathtaking views of Kruger National Park. Guests can watch the park’s animals go about their day from the deck or go on an early morning safari. The lodge also provides a range of activities to suit guests’ tastes.

Active Investment by BON Hotels

BON Hotels acquired Buckler’s Africa Lodge, a South African-based hotel company that owns and manages hotels, lodges, and resorts in Southern Africa, West Africa, and East Africa. Charl van Wyk, BON Hotel’s Group Commercial Director, expressed excitement about the venture’s benefits for BON Hotels and the people working to make it a success. The expansion enables BON Hotels to cater to a range of markets, offering traditional family units to luxury self-catering accommodation.
